so writing that title, reminds me of Catching Up with Depeche Mode…anyone else?
it’s been a while since i’ve posted anything here…so much has been going on. an overview…i had a lot of school work to do before taking off to California for about a week. i finished up and started more school work while we travelled, and gee oh boy, was that fun. when we returned it was time for finishing up projects and studying for finals! oh, and lots and lots of jet lag. after finals, it was time for some snowboarding. and so now, grades are in, there is some time to breathe, and here i am. on the school front…i’m very happy to be done with Business Statistics. i worked hard, and I made a C. i’m not used to working hard and getting an average grade. i did get an A in Accounting II though. which i also worked hard at…
Blizz Con was fun. i am kind of amazed that i had fun. i didn’t expect to be bored, that is why i brought knitting, but i didn’t expect to be excited to play a game i’ve never played before or ever even had an interest in. my husband is excited about the release of Diablo III, which was still not announced, but we did get to play it. Yes, i said WE. there are 5 classes of characters you can choose from, and we were able to play the game 5 times. so i tried each character. i liked the Witch Doctor and the Barbarian best.
plus, this took place in California, so that was even cooler. when the trip was planned, it was decided that i would get a day to shop for yarn. Which i’ll save for another post.
we also got to spend a few days with my husband’s parents, who are SUPER COOL:) we went to Disney:) i’d never been to the one in California, and we had a good time.
it was good to see the in-laws, and spend some time in the United States. we also did some shopping, we ate some american food and some yummy mexican food, and we saw a movie in a real movie theater:) we saw Hereafter. i’m not a huge Matt Damon fan (i did like the Bourne Identity movies though), but this movie was Really Good. it was also kind of sad. but it was good and it there was a happy ending. so…that sums up the last few weeks. i have some FOs to share, but i’ll do that tomorrow. and some yarn to share as well. but now, i’d like to cast on a pair of socks. or a scarf. or…well, you get the point. i can’t decide exactly, but i know i want to Knit:)
